Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase & Procurement
Executive with minimum 2+ years of experience in the
Construction and Interior industry. The candidate will be
responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with
vendors, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely
delivery of materials to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of construction and
interior materials.
- Source vendors for plywood, laminates, hardware,
electrical items, plumbing materials, tiles, paints,
glass, aluminium, etc.
- Compare quotations and negotiate price, payment terms,
and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and
designers for material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites.
- Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier
relationships.
- Monitor stock and maintain inventory records.
- Verify invoices and coordinate with accounts team for
payments.
- Ensure material quality as per project specifications.
- Control procurement cost without compromising quality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration,
Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in construction/interior
procurement.
- Strong knowledge of construction and interior materials.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under
pressure.
